On June 24th, 2023, the CSSL GenZ chapter of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University hosted a transformative event called TechDrive 2.0 via Zoom. This virtual session aimed to empower and guide aspiring IT professionals in Sri Lanka, specifically targeting post-O/L and A/L students eager to explore their career options and enhance their knowledge in the IT field. The event kicked off at 6.00 pm and continued well into the evening, with a series of captivating presentations and engaging discussions.

Renowned speakers, including Mrs. DU Vidanagama, Senior Lecturer at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Professor (Brigadier) Sanath Jaliya Wickramasinghe USP, Associate Professor at NSBM Green University, Mr. Thisara Weerasinghe, Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Engineering, and Dr. Ajantha Athukorala, Director of UCSC and President of CSSL, shared their expertise and insights into the current and future landscape of the IT industry in Sri Lanka.
